Pre-admission tests (PAT's) are those procedures (bloodwork, urine, electrocardiograms or EKG's and chest x-rays) performed on an outpatient basis prior to your surgical procedure. Your physician will determine what specific tests you may or may not require based on your medical history and surgical procedure.

PAT's are generally scheduled 1 week prior to your surgical procedure and are done at the surgery center on Monday and Thursday mornings by appointment.

A registered nurse will call you personally to confirm your appointment, review your medical history and answer and questions or concerns you may have.
